CLSA is open to Calvert County Public School Students
The Calvert Local Scholarship Application allows qualified students to choose from 101 different local scholarships generously offered by ➡️ 38 Scholarship Providers. Review scholarship provider eligibility requirements, before submitting this application. Most providers require essays which will need to be submitted with the application.

March 3, 2023, by 11:59 PM Eastern
Applications must be submitted electronically. No paper documents accepted.
Open only to Calvert County Public School Students
🔲 Begin 2023 CLSA Application on www.clsap.org
🔲 Upload Transcript. Please request One (1) electronic official High School Transcript and/or one (1) electronic official College Transcript from your school.
🔲 Upload SAT/ACT – Student may use a copy of the SAT/ACT official report sent with test scores or downloaded from www.collegeboard.org (there may be more than one SAT/ ACT Report)
🔲 Upload SAR – Student Aid Report from the processed 2023-2024 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid @ www.fafsa.gov)
🔲 Upload Student Resume
🔲 Upload Two (2) Letters of Recommendation – Original, one each: an Academic Recommendation, and a Community Recommendation
🔲 Upload Requested Essay as required from specific Scholarship Providers
For the purposes of fairness and equal opportunity, the CLSA will not notify applicants of incomplete CLSA applications. Please use the checklist of required documents as your guide to completion. Review and re-read your CLSA form before you click SUBMIT.
Save required essays in the following format: Student name and scholarship provider. Save all other material and required documents in the following format: student’s first and last name.
Essays: (ex. jane_doe_SAT)
Other documents: jane_doe
The CLSA Manager holds all applicant information confidentially and stores all applications on a secure server. Only Scholarship Provider(s) indicated on an individual’s application are provided with the student’s CLSA application.
The CLSA Manager CANNOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THAT DO NOT MEET THE DEADLINE, NOR ACCEPT CORRECTIONS, ADDITIONAL MATERIAL, OR CHANGES OF ANY KIND, AFTER THE MARCH 3, 2023 DEADLINE.
Email Address: REQUIRED as all correspondence will be directed to the email address you specify on the application. Physical Mailing Addresses may be used by the individual Scholarship Provider.
Ethnicity: Indicate your primary ethnic identification. This optional field is REQUIRED if you are applying for a scholarship that is ethnicity-specific.
College acceptance letters: Upload a copy of a college acceptance letter in Section VI, if you are applying to the scholarships offered by the following providers:
