CLSA is open to Calvert County Public School Students
The Calvert Local Scholarship Application allows qualified students to select from 74 different local scholarships, generously provided by 37 scholarship providers, with a total of up to $100,000 available. Before submitting your application, please review the eligibility requirements for each scholarship provider. Some providers require essays to be submitted along with the application.

Applications must be submitted electronically. No paper documents accepted.

Required Documents
🔲 Begin the 2025 CLSA Application on www.clsap.org
🔲 Upload CURRENT Transcript. Please request One (1) electronic official High School Transcript and/or one (1) electronic official College Transcript from your school
🔲 Upload SAT/ACT – Students may use a copy of the SAT/ACT official report sent with test scores or downloaded from www.collegeboard.org (there may be more than one SAT/ ACT Report)
🔲 Upload Student Resume
🔲 Upload Two (2) Letters of Recommendation – Original, one each: an Academic Recommendation and a Community Recommendation
🔲 Upload Requested Essay as required from specific Scholarship Providers
Note: FAFSA Submission Summary for the 2025–2026 award year (FAFSA® Application | Federal Student Aid). Not required at submission; however, upon request by a scholarship provider, students must be prepared to submit a copy of their summary before consideration for a scholarship

The CLSA Manager holds all applicant information confidentially and stores all applications on a secure server. Only Scholarship Provider(s) indicated on an individual’s application are provided with the student’s CLSA application.

Save required essays in the following format: Student name and scholarship provider. Save all other documents in the following format: student’s first and last name.

Email Address: REQUIRED as all correspondence will be directed to the email address you specify on the application.

Ethnicity: Indicate your primary ethnic identification. This field is REQUIRED if you are applying for an ethnicity-specific scholarship.

College acceptance letters: Upload a copy of a college acceptance letter in Section VI if you are applying to the scholarships offered by the following providers:
